​Are you within a 30km radius of Oliva and have small / elderly dogs or cats, who would like a pet-sitter at your home, so you can go on holiday? After losing my little darling dogs Gonzalo and Jessie, I'm not ready to have another animal full-time in my life, but I'd love to look after yours for a few days.

I'm a bit decrepit and walk very slowly with a stick, but I could quite easily manage to look after a cat (or two!) or a little dog / elderly dog who won't need me to run around after them or take them on long walks... I can give them lots of cuddles and care - or give them space if that's what they prefer - in their own home, making sure that they are fed and watered in comfort. I should perhaps add that I can bend to do the poop scooping! If you've got WiFi, I'd bring my laptop so I can sit and write, whilst looking after your dog / cat.

So if you're thinking of going away but worrying about putting your much-loved furry friend into kennels or in someone else's home (both of which can be very confusing for animals), let's discuss.

how i can HELP you

• Please give me details of what you need, where and when, and for which animals.

• We will meet at your home to introduce me to your pet(s), and discuss details. (This - and my travel - will be factored into my fee.)

• All dog owners in Spain are required to have insurance for their animal, which includes third party liability. Please check with your insurers whether this covers a pet-sitter staying in your home.

• For the pet=sitting itself, I will need details of your vet, including address and contact details, and any medical records / pet passport that I might need to show to the vet, should there be any problems for your animal(s) during my stay. I would of course inform you as soon as possible of any emergencies, and keep you fully informed throughout.

• I can provide daily photos and voice / video messages, so that you know your loved animals are being cared for.

• You will need to give full details of feeding regimes for each animal, including any treats - and their daily routines. 

• Bookings should be (ideally) within a 30km radius of Oliva. 
• My fees are per 24-hour period, including staying overnight at your home.

Terms and conditions

1. All fees to be paid at time of booking, via credit card or Paypal - these methods offer security for both of us (I will provide a link).

2. All fees include an element for my travel, as well as 21% IVA (I am an Autonomo worker in Spain, this is the tax I pay on my earnings).

3. Your name and contact details will be held confidentially, solely for the purposes of maintaining a booking diary and accounting receipts.

4. Cancellation of a booking (by either you or me) should be made with at least 24 hours notice - a re-booking can then be offered.

5. Cancellation (by you) with less than 24 hours notice will be non-refundable.

6. Please remember that I am partially disabled and walk slowly with a stick. I can look after cats and either small, medium or elderly large dogs who do not need a lot of exercising.​ I am able-bodied enough to feed and care for as well as deal with their pee and poop needs though!
