- Professor Mary John

Professor Mary John held a conference at the University of Exeter in the early 1990s on the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child. Four years later she started the "Children in Charge" series, following up on the various projects which had been featured in the conference.

Angela Garry was Prof. John's Secretary / PA and assisted with researching, creating and editing four of the eleven volumes in the series.
